Job Summary
Kforce is seeking a Functional Business Analyst in Houston, TX, to support system user groups through documentation, process refinement, and testing. This role involves drafting high-quality announcements and training updates, creating step-by-step action documents for procedures, and collaborating with stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements and user stories. The analyst will also independently execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality aligns with business expectations and confirm production readiness.
Must Have
- Draft concise, high-quality announcements and training updates for large user groups
- Communicate new business rules, manual procedures, and system actions in clear, actionable language
- Edit and create step-by-step action documents that guide agents through manual, verbal, and system-based procedures
- Ensure documentation reflects both current and future-state processes post-implementation
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to capture and write detailed business requirements and user stories
- Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation for system enhancements
- Independently execute UAT, validate test cases, and determine pass/fail outcomes
- Confirm production readiness and ensure system functionality aligns with business expectations at launch
- Proven experience writing communications for large system user groups, especially call center environments
- Hands-on experience conducting UAT and validating production environments
- Strong editing and documentation skills for operational processes and agent workflows
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to write detailed business requirements and user stories
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
- Experience using Salesforce

Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a detail-oriented and highly communicative Functional Business Analyst to support system user groups through precise documentation, process refinement, and hands-on testing. This role is critical in ensuring business rules and system changes are clearly communicated, accurately documented, and thoroughly validated. Responsibilities: User Communication & Training Updates:
- Draft concise, high-quality announcements and training updates for large user groups
- Communicate new business rules, manual procedures, and system actions in clear, actionable language
Process Documentation:
- Edit and create step-by-step action documents that guide agents through manual, verbal, and system-based procedures
- Ensure documentation reflects both current and future-state processes post-implementation Business
Requirements Development:
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to capture and write detailed business requirements and user stories
- Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation for system enhancements-without leading requirement-gathering sessions
User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Independently execute UAT, validate test cases, and determine pass/fail outcomes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
